Last week we facilitated our second in-house and virtual intensive Certificate III in Investigative Services to a range of students in our Sunshine Coast training facility, and remotely across the country.

At the Professional Investigators College of Australasia (PICA), our aim is to provide the most relevant, practical investigation training. We are all about building better investigators.

Our innovative, virtual classroom is like no other. Students can log in from anywhere, watch and participate in the training, feeling like they are actually in the classroom! Not like they are looking at a face on Zoom.

Not only were the 16 units of the Certificate III covered, we also had two special guest speakers during the week. Paul G spoke with the participants about factual investigations; what it means to undertake these types of investigations, how to get into the industry, the amount of work, and the important traits you’ll need to be successful. It was a great insight into the industry.

It was also a real thrill to have Dave M, an experienced surveillance operative, speak with students about the role of surveillance, setting up a surveillance vehicle, some practical tips and surveillance methods, and the types of jobs these types of private investigator’s undertake.

By far the best part of our training is the interaction with students. Being able to ask questions, learn from experienced facilitators and those in the industry – and complete some of the assessment – is a big leg up to completing studies and moving into an investigative career.

Our Certificate III in Investigative Services gives students the most up-to-date and relevant training in investigation. It is not just ‘tick the box’ training, but practical skills to develop investigators.

Look out for future intensive Certificate III in Investigative Services and also our intensive Certificate IV In Government (Investigation) coming later in the year.

What our students are saying about us:

“Fantastic course, really great to have trainers who work in what they teach and are always available to assist.” – Cassie. C, PICA Cert III Intensive Student.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I loved every minute of the intensive and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was not one time I felt bored and I got up at 530 everyday without complaining as I looked forward to the classes. I found the classes to be informative and interesting yet laid back and casual whilst somewhat interactive. I wish I could attend more lol. I don’t have any feedback to give as It was great just the way it was.”
Kind regards, Angela. D, PICA Cert III Intensive Student.
