Heritage Bank is seeking a passionate problem solver to join their Banking Operations Team!
About the role:
This role will see you proactively manage and conduct all facets of criminal and non-criminal investigations, with a focus on matters related to computer technology and cyber-crime. You will also gain exposure to complex external and internal investigations.
What you’ll be doing:
This role will see you working with a number of stakeholders in different capacities through each investigative process from support teams to interviews and through to legal counsel and internal Human Resources. You will also develop key relationships with industry and become a key contact for cyber-crime events. Below is an outline of the core activities you can expect to undertake:
- Conduct and lead technical external investigations
- Provide technical investigative support to Internal Investigations for example, providing investigative strategy, data acquisition and analysis and tool assessments.
- Prepare and review reports, present findings and strategies to management.
- Analyse IP activity, recovery and imaging and tracing of data from hard drives and devices, reconstruct and analyse digital adata, understanding, familiarity and experience with encryption, networking as examples.
- Maintain statistical information and records relating to team activities and assist in the production of management reports
Do you have a demonstrated experience in financial fraud investigation or, related Law enforcement? This may be the role for you! Industry recognised certificates such as CFE, PCI would be advantageous for this role and knowledge of banking systems risk management would also be desirable for your success in this position. In addition to your technical skill, you will be comfortable presenting to audiences and able to articulate sophistical fact patterns to non-technical stakeholders (as such, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required). This role will require you to be on call as required and the ability to work in different locations is essential.
