Here’s a great local government investigation role with one of Australia’s biggest councils, north of Brisbane, Queensland. This job will have plenty of variety and challenges! A certificate IV in Government Investigations will be very handy for this one.

We are seeking an Investigations Officer who has experience undertaking investigations that have required significant application, interpretation and enforcement of legislation. You will have proven and effective time management skills and decision-making abilities to be able to work within timeframes and deadlines and within a regulatory team environment.

You will be a strong and influential communicator, well versed will representing in a professional and courteous manner which incorporates our values and delivers service outcomes that meet the needs of a diverse range of audiences.

Whilst it is not essential you are experienced within local government; you will hold a Certificate IV in Government (Investigations or Regulatory Services) or similar discipline and have strong verbal and written skills required to prepare and represent Council at legal proceedings.
