Local Laws Ranger
Great Local Laws Ranger role in a beautiful part of Queensland. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and enforcing local laws including animal management and dog attacks.
A certificate IV in government investigations is what will hold you in good stead for this one.
We are looking for a Local Laws Ranger to join our Customer Response team!
Local Law Ranger’s provide customer focused engagement, and investigate and conduct enforcement of Council’s Local Laws, policies and relevant State legislation.
Other responsibilities include issuing correspondence, compliance notices, providing reports and briefs to management and council and provide evidence in a court of law regarding investigations as required.
As an effective communicator, you will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, enabling you to educate and converse with a range of internal and external stakeholders to effectively represent the Council. You will also enjoy working as part of a team and be comfortable working remotely across our vast region!
You will have experience in managing a busy workload and actioning a range of administration tasks using online tools, technology and software.
Whilst not mandatory, experience or qualifications in investigations, enforcement or animal management would be highly regarded.
