Here’s another interesting, non-sworn, police role as a Police Auxiliary Officer – Coronial Investigations. You’ll be responsible for assisting detectives working in the coronial Investigation squad.  Very exciting work!

Position Objective

As a Police Auxiliary Officer – Coronial Investigation, you will provide the Coronial Investigation Squad (CIS) with coronial investigative assistance to detectives, coronial investigators, and appointed coroner’s investigators, and customer service support to the Office of the State Coroner, the State Mortuary, and the next of kin and families of deceased persons, to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Squad and the State coronial system as required under the Coroners Act 1996 (WA).
