Ranger

Here’s another great local government role in the Northern Territory! As a Ranger you’ll be responsible for compliance and enforcement activities relating to the City of Darwin’s By-laws, Policies, Strategies, and Plans, including conducting investigations, evidence collections, statements, interviews, inspections, warrants, seizures, issuing warnings, infringements, and preparing prosecution briefs.

You’ll need your certificate IV in Government Investigations for this one.

As this position is a front facing to our customers, you will maintain good relationships with the community by communicating legislative requirements calmly, clearly, and confidently, combined with practical listening skills.   Often you will  be required to think on your feet, operate with a safety first approach and have an eye for detail.
