Your role is key role within regulatory services and will assist the Regulatory Services Supervisor – Animal Management with investigating complex animal matters that may lead to enforcement, appeals and legal action including regulated dog management and barking dog CRMs.

You will also maintain high customer service standards and effective CRM response and;

  • Undertaking rigorous and detailed investigations of alleged offences and implement correct regulatory action (e.g. warnings, infringements, enforcement notices, impoundment, etc.)
  • Assist with the training and mentoring of Regulatory Services staff
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures
  • Implement an annual Declared Dogs (dangerous & menacing) inspection program
  • Take a lead and/or provide advice for staff in complex animal control matters
  • Discussions, investigations and negotiations with the public to achieve education and ensure compliance.
  • Once fully trained you will be included in an ‘on-call’ roster for provision of services after hours and on weekends
